How to turn any Fixa Foods flavor into a sauce

It's easy to turn Fixa Foods flavors into fast sauces for pasta, bowls, tacos, and more.

If your Fixa Foods flavor is frozen…

  1. Let it defrost in the refrigerator overnight or on the counter for 1-2 hours.
  2. Then give it a good stir.

For a little sauce to drizzle:

  1. Get a heat-proof bowl
  2. Add 2-3 heaping spoonfuls of your Fixa Foods flavor.
  3. Add 2-3 Tablespoons of hot drinking water.
  4. Whisk to your desired consistency.
  5. Serve over Buddha bowls, tacos, veggies, or protein of your choice.

For a lotta sauce for pasta:

  1. Empty a bag of Fixa Foods pasta into a large pot of boiling, salted water.
  2. Cook for about 6-9 minutes (or time indicated on package) until al dente.
  3. Reserve a cup or two of pasta water.
  4. Drain the pasta.
  5. In a skillet or heat-proof bowl, add one-half to one full jar of Fixa Foods (depending on how much sauce you want to make). Some helpful ratios:
    1. 8 oz pasta + ½ jar of Fixa Foods + ½-1 cup of pasta water
    2. 16 oz pasta + 1 jar of Fixa foods + 1-2 cups of pasta water
  6. Slowly whisk in the reserved pasta water until your desired consistency.
  7. For a thicker sauce, use less water. For a thinner sauce, use more water.
  8. Toss the pasta with the sauce and any vegetables, protein, or toppings of your choice.
